Built From The Ground Up

Pro Shine was started in 2003 in a one-bay rented shop in the west end of Fort Frances by sole proprietor Chad Jackson. Needing to do something besides wearing coveralls for someone else, I started out commercially sandblasting trailers, truck frames, and heavy equipment.

More and more customers began demanding A/B repair and paint restoration work on automobiles. In the fall of 2004, our current location (set up as a body shop) became available, and we moved in at Christmas time.

Pro Shine started doing more and more collision and accessory work, and less heavy truck and equipment repair. In 2017, we purchased the building and property, along with the Rust Check franchise.

In spring of 2021, we opened Pro Auto, a partnership between my wife Sheila and my buddy Steve - a mechanical, MVIS, A/C, and electrical diagnostic shop. By 2022, we needed more space, so an addition was built.

In 2023, we started Pro Tow, a separate entity to serve our customers' towing needs, as well as full TSSO/TSSEA certification.

I have always wanted to have a full-service auto center - one stop for all auto needs.
